Duncan A. Norwood, 30, of Guilford passed away Monday, November 18, 2013 at his home. He was born, December 17, 1982 at Grace Cottage Hospital, Townsend, Vt. Duncan grew up in Westminster West, Vt. He was a confident, exuberant soul, whose enthusiasm for adventure was contagious. He always enjoyed the company of friends and family around him. When Duncan had children of his own, he spent much of his time, sharing with them his love of nature and sports. He loved being outdoors hunting, fishing, and hiking in the woods. He enjoyed many sports including hockey, running and swimming; he loved dirt biking and four wheeling and he loved to go snorkeling in the Caribbean and camping in Maine. Duncan also worked as a Train Conductor for Amtrak and was proud of his job. Duncan left a strong impression on all who knew him. He will be sorely missed by those he leaves behind, especially his two children whom he loved so very much, Natalie Ann and Logan Arthur Norwood; his mother, Alice M. Kehoe and partner Wayne Cyr of Richmond, N.H.; his father, Gordon A. Norwood and wife Lauren Y. Watrous of Bernardston, Mass.; his sister, Honor C. Norwood and niece, Josephine A. Dahir of Putney, Vt; the mother of his children, Jennifer Bradbury; his aunts and uncles, Siobhain and Dave Meacham of East Windsor, Conn., Kevin and Cindy Kehoe of Manchester, Conn., Roderick Norwood of East Hartford, Conn., Martin and Becky Norwood of Albert Lea, Minn., James Norwood of Manchester, Conn., Douglas Norwood of Manchester, Conn.; and numerous cousins and friends. A private service will be held in Bar Harbor, Maine. There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held at The Congregational Church in West Minster West, Vt., on December 15, 2013 at 2 p.m. -
