Police in Little Egg Harbor Township have made an arrest in the suspected DWI death of a 13-year-old girl.
Emilee Laferriere was struck and killed along Radio Road just before 10:00 p.m. Sunday night while walking home with a friend.
47-year-old Timothy Hettinger was arrested and charged with DWI.
Hettinger, who is not in police custody, refused to answer his door Monday night, telling Action News through a window that he had nothing to say.
On Monday, family and friends turned out at a roadside memorial to remember a girl they said was filled with energy.
