Antonio Lamonte Gabbard, age 16, of Newport, KY passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at his home. He aspired to be an Army Ranger and was an avid player of video games. Antonio had a good heart and was always willing to help others. He was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Lillian Wade, last year and his great aunt and uncle, Pam & Roy Nelson. He is survived by his mother, Rebecca (Corey Goodson) Moore of Cincinnati, OH; maternal grandparents, Debbie & Jim Carpenter of Newport; aunt, Brittany (Mark) Haines of Reading, OH; uncle, Tommy Carpenter of Newport and cousins, Gina Chandler of Florence, KY and Kim Burk of Dayton, KY. A Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. with the funeral ceremony to follow at 7 p.m., Thursday, February 13th at Holy Trinity Junior High School Gymnasium, 9th & Saratoga St., Newport, KY.
