The Gallia County Sheriff's Office has released the names of the two people found dead inside a burned car in Gallia County last Thursday afternoon.
Sheriff Joe Browning says the victims have been identified as 21-year-old Terrell A. Hurt of Point Pleasant, W.Va. and 20-year-old Tyler D. Pearson of Gallipolis, Ohio.
The identifications were confirmed by the Gallia County Coroner Dr. Daniel Whitely.
Sheriff Browning says the cause of death is still pending. Autopsy results have not yet been released.
The sheriff says investigators are now focusing on what started the car fire.
The Ohio Fire Marshal's Office and Attorney General's Bureau of Criminal Investigation are also assisting in the investigation.
