The body of a missing Battle Ground woman was discovered on Saturday inside an abandoned out building in Vancouver, authorities said.

Beverly Goheen, 33, was last seen at Legacy Salmon Creek hospital in Vancouver on the morning of April 29. Family and friends who had spent weeks searching for Goheen discovered the woman's body in an out building near the hospital and called 911, authorities said.

The cause and manner of Goheen's death are unknown, police said, but foul play is not suspected. The remains have been released to the Clark County Medical Examiner.

The death is under investigation by the Regional Major Crimes Unit, which is comprised of Vancouver Police and Clark County Sheriff Detectives.
