A man was found dead Thursday morning at Bicentennial Park located just off Herald Road.

Schuylkill County Deputy Coroner Andrew Szczyglak said he pronounced Christopher S. Streeter, 25, of Shenandoah, dead at the scene at 9:05 a.m.

Szczyglak said the man was discovered after hanging himself from a piece of playground equipment.

The deputy coroner said the manner of death has been ruled a suicide.
