Vincent Falante, age 14, of Rogersville, passed away, Monday, August 6, 2012 at his residence following an extended illness. He was a student at John Sevier Middle School, Kingsport and a special patient of St. Jude Hospital in Johnson City and Memphis, TN.

Survivors include his mother, Theresa Southard of the home; father, Anthony Falante, Sr. of San Diego, CA; brother, Anthony "Tony" Falante of the home; maternal grandparents, Jim and Beulah Southard of Big Stone Gap, VA; uncles, Jimmy Southard and wife, Amy of Rogersville and Paul Southard of Tazewell, VA; special friend, Sierra Richman of Katy, TX; cousin, Chris Southard of Rogersville, Brianna and Maddie Southard of Dryden, VA and other cousins and extended family in San Diego, CA.

Calling hours will be 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Broome Funeral Home, Rogersville.

Funeral service will be conducted 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 8, 2012 in the funeral home chapel with Colby Bledsoe officiating. Graveside service will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 9, 2012 in McKinney Cemetery.
