The woman who was killed in the Fort Worth crash has been identified as Shanta Martin, 37.
Updated at 2:17 p.m.: The man who was struck and killed on Interstate 30 overnight has been identified as 24-year-old Jay Wolf, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner.
Original post at 6:35 a.m.: Two pedestrians were struck and killed overnight on North Texas highways in separate incidents.
Fort Worth police responded to a major accident call around 4:45 a.m. on Interstate 35W near Alta Mesa Boulevard. A woman was struck and killed, according to NBC Channel 5 (KXAS-TV).
In Arlington, a man in his 20s was struck and killed around midnight on Interstate 30 near Ballpark Way. The man had been walking along the highway when he was hit. Police are investigating what he was doing before the crash.
The drivers in both crashes stopped and called police.
