Jeanyne Randall, a 45-year-old Ypsilanti Township woman, was pronounced dead after being involved in a two-car accident in Van Buren Township Thursday morning.

According to a police report, Van Buren Township Police and Huron Valley Ambulance were dispatched to Ecorse Road near Haggerty Road around 7 a.m. Thursday for a report of a two-car motor vehicle accident.

A preliminary investigation revealed that 57-year-old Van Buren Township resident Daniel Sielski was traveling westbound on Ecorse Road in a Nissan Xterra when he collided with Randall's 2007 Toyota Camry, which was traveling southbound on Haggerty Road.

Randall was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

Sielski was transported to St. Joseph Mercy Hospital where he was treated and released.

An investigation into the accident is still underway and police have not released any details as to what may have caused the accident.
