Graveside service for former Lawton resident, Bryce R. Petty, 58, Fort Worth, Texas will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Petty died Friday, May 9, 2014 in Fort Worth.
Burial will be under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.
The family will greet friends from 7:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at the funeral home.
He was born May 4, 1956 in Gravette, Arkansas to Samuel Richard and Ruth Ada (Wardlaw) Petty. Mr. Petty graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1974 and Cameron University in 1979 with a bachelor's degree in mathematics. He had been a resident of Fort Worth since 1984 where he was a systems engineer for Lockheed Martin. Mr. Petty had been a member of the Texas State Guard.
Survivors include his daughter, Samantha Petty Alexander and her husband Joshua, Austin, Texas, two grandsons, Granvel Alexander and Samuel Alexander, both of Austin, his mother and his sister, Leslie Petty Hall, both of Lawton.
He was preceded in death by his father.
