Tawana Ann Burton, age 31, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2013, in Ardmore, Okla. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 23, 2013, at The Chapel at Griffin~Hillcrest with Reverend Lynn Harris of­ficiating. Interment will be in Concord Cemetery, Ardmore, Okla.

Tawana was born on August 27, 1981, in Okla­homa City to Billy Ray Burton and Theresa (Harris) Burton. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She attended Ardmore Schools. She worked for 1-800-Flowers as a tele­marketer and also worked at Wal-Mart as a stocker. She was a member of the Concord Missionary Bap­tist Church most of her life.

Tawana is survived by her three children; Jesse­lyn Burton, Jaron Henson, and Jenna Henson, all of Ardmore. A brother, Chad Briscoe, of Ardmore, her grandparents, Alfred and Lillian Vaughn, of Ard­more, two aunts; Tawa­na Watterson and Janet Lindsey, both of Ardmore and an uncle, Lynn Har­ris, of Wichita, Kan.

Family visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2013, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Griffin-Hillcrest Funeral Home.
