Joseph "Joey" Dewayne Vander Vort, 19, a 10-year resident of Washougal, WA, passed away on Dec. 8, 2014. He was born on May 23, 1995 to his parents Mark and Roberta Vander Vort in Portland, OR.
Joey leaves behind his father, Mark and two mothers, Roberta and Cynthia Vander Vort; brother, Joshua; his maternal grandparents, Toni and Bob Wills; paternal grandmother, Norma Vander Vort; grandparents, Larry and Carol Whittington; as well as his therapy companion animal and best friend, a Labrador Retriever named Ruby.
A celebration of Joseph's life will take place Tues., Dec. 16 at Brown's Funeral Home, at 10:00 a.m., with a committal to follow at Fern Prairie Cemetery.
