As a result of evidence and interviews, the Santa Maria Police Department SWAT Team arrested two Allan Hancock Athletes in connection to the death of 23 year-old Terence Richardson.

Richardson was murdered on the 1000 block of East Jones in Santa Maria on Dec. 30, 2014.

19-year old Ali Mohammed and 22-year old Lavell White have been booked for murder at Santa Barbara County Jail.

Their bail has been set at $1,000,000.

Allan Hancock has released a statement in which they assure they will fully cooperate with the Santa Maria Police Department with the investigation.

"We are disappointed and shocked by the arrest of two of our student-athletes," said an Allan Hancock Spokesman.

"We are still trying to understand all of the details of this incident, but this clearly does not meet the high standards our student-athletes have maintained for many years."
