According to a press release from the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, 31-year-old Michael Leonard Roloff of Kalispell was shot by his mother-in-law Lois Kay Olbekson around 10:17 P.M. on Friday night in Libby.

The press release states that Olbekson called 911 stating she shot her son-in-law in the chest with a .22 caliber handgun after being threatened by him. Police arrived to find Roloff lying in the driveway unresponsive. He was taken to Cabinet Peaks Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

According to the release, no arrests have been made and no charges have been filed at this time. The sheriff's office is still investigating the incident at this time.
