1972-2015 Paula Butterfield, age 42, was received into the arms of God on January 11, 2015, as the result of an illness. She was born on January 30, 1972, in Tacoma, Wash. Education: Paula attended Henry Foss High School in Tacoma, Washington. Church Affiliations: Paula was a member of many churches; The Cross Church, Prais-A-Lujah Ministries, and Normandy Church, all in Seattle, Wash. She was also a member of Real Life Ministries and New Life Church, in Post Falls, Idaho. Life History: Paula became a member of The Cross Church, where she fell in love with Jesus. She loved outreach and to feed the homeless. She had a heart for the hurting and eventually entered a leadership role in The Cross Recovery Program, where she spent the next few years living for Jesus. Paula loved God deeply, and she had an intimate and passionate relationship with the Lord. She loved her family and her Jesus. She eventually met her husband, David, and they married on March 17, 2012. They moved to Post Falls where they lived a quiet Jesus-filled life. Surviving Family: Her husband, David Butterfield, of Post Falls; daughters, Carren Harris and Marissa Harris, both of Tacoma; step-daughter, Amiya Butterfield and step-son, Marcus Butterfield, both of Marysville, Wash.; mother and father-in-law, Melody and Bob Ledbetter of Tacoma; father and mother-in-law, Dean Granberg of Gold Bar, Wash. and Connie Boyer of Hoquiam, Wash.; grandmother-in-law, Barbara Mickelson-Franz of Lake Stevens, Wash.; sister-in-law, Doreeann Granberg of Holiday, Fla.; brother-in-law, William Boyer, of Hoquiam; aunt and uncle-in-law, Gena and Duane DeLavallade of Marysville; and many, many more friends and family.
