Joshua Shane Myers, 18, of South Charleston, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at Cabell Huntington Hospital.

He was a 2014 graduate of South Charleston High School. He loved all sports but golf was his favorite. He was a 5 time state AAU Champion with the WV Wildcats coached by Gay Elmore.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joe Ridenour; and his grandmother, Joyce Moore Myers.

Josh is survived by MawMaw Delores Ridenour of Charleston; parents, David and Michelle Myers of South Charleston; sister, Renee' Myers of South Charleston; brothers, Justin and Joey Myers of South Charleston. He was also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins as well as extended family and friends. Josh touched many lives and was good friends with everyone he met.

A Service to Honor the Life of Joshua Myers will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 24, 2015, at Snodgrass Funeral Home, South Charleston. Burial will be in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans.

Family and friends may visit from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, January 23, 2015 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Snodgrass Funeral Home, 4122 MacCorkle Ave., SW, South Charleston, WV 25309, to help with the funeral expenses.
