Austin M. Kish, 18, died Monday, Feb. 23, 2015, at his home in Ogdensburg.
Austin was born in Newton on March 6, 1996. He has been a lifelong resident of Ogdensburg.
Austin had recently taken his oath to join the U.S. Navy and was presently working at T.J.'s Pizzeria, in Franklin, and at the 517 Diner, in Ogdensburg. He was a graduate of Wallkill Valley Regional High School, class of 2014. He loved music and enjoyed hunting and fishing. During his grammar school years, he was active in, and enjoyed playing football and wrestling.
Austin was predeceased by his loving grandfather, Verden Pugh, and paternal great grandmother, Tessie Kish.
He is the beloved son of Veronica Pugh, of Ogdensburg, and Darren Kish, of Franklin; loving brother of Trevor Kish, at home; cherished grandson of his maternal grandparents, Susan McDonald Pugh and James Zinis, of Ogdensburg,; as well as many aunts, an uncle, and cousins.
A celebration of Austin's life will be held Friday, March 6, from 4-8 p.m. at Sgt. Francis M. Glynn American Legion Post No. 132, 1 Legion Road, in Franklin. Memorial donations may be made to Sgt.
