Perth County OPP say a 16-year-old boy has been killed following a collision in Perth County.

Officials were called to the scene at Line 40 and Road 110 north east of Stratford shortly before 11 am this morning.

Investigators say the 2014 Honda R5A motorcycle was traveling east on Line 40 (which is a through highway) when it collided with a 2011 GMC Sierra pickup truck traveling south on Road 110 (which is controlled by stop signs).

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene while the driver of the pickup truck was taken to a local hospital with undetermined injuries.

16 year old Jeremy Wickenheiser from the Township of Perth East has been identified as the driver of the motorcycle.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by Perth County OPP.
