A head-on collision between two vehicles in Warwick on Monday afternoon led to the death of a Florida man.
Joseph Kikkert, 72, of Florida, was killed when his car was struck by a minivan on Union Corners Road, Warwick Police Lt. John Rader said.

Kikkert was driving a 2013 Nissan Altima at about 4:10 p.m. near Spanktown Road when the minivan crossed a double yellow line and crashed into his car, police said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Kikkert's 71-year-old wife, Barbara, was a passenger in the car. She suffered critical but non-life threatening injuries, Rader said.
She was recovering in the Orange Regional Medical Center's intensive care unit on Tuesday,
The driver of the minivan, Theodore Ochsen, 32, of Port Jervis, was able to escape the accident with "less severe" injuries, Rader said.
Police are still investigating what caused Ochsen's vehicle to cross over the center line.
No tickets have been issued pending the completion of the investigation, Rader said.
The crash shut down traffic for about five hours on Union Corners Road.
Police ask that anybody who witnessed the accident contact the Warwick Police Department's detective unit at 986-5000.
