Harward, Karen Callis,

41, of Louisville, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 22, with her family by her side.

She was preceded in death by her father, Perry Callis.

Karen was a stay at home mom. She loved her Lord and often sought opportunity to study and worship him. Her passions were music and family. She was an active member of the Christ Church Chancel Choir and often filled her home with music. She also loved spending time with her family, particularly taking trips to the mountains or the beach.

She is survived by her loving husband, Michael; children, Andrew, Nicholas and Cora; her mother, Betty Callis; sister, Patricia Callis; brother, Tim Callis; and many friends.

A Celebration of her life will be 10 a.m. Monday, Christ Church United Methodist, 4614 Brownsboro Road. Visitation will be 1-4 p.m. Sunday at Ratterman Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington road "in St. Matthews".

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the music ministry of Christ Church United Methodist in Louisville, KY, for a special remembrance of Karen.
