Abby Leigh Sutherland, 20, of Leavenworth, died Saturday, August 1, 2015, near Palmyra, Indiana. She was born March 28, 1995 in Corydon. She was employed as a service technician at Heritage Ford in Corydon and was a hostess at the Overlook Restaurant in Leavenworth, was the current Miss Crawford County for 2015, was an avid supporter of the "Love For Lily" cancer benefits, and she loved her dogs, horse riding, 4 wheeling and everything outdoors.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jim Parr and Oscar and Francis Sutherland.

Survivors include her father, Alvin D. Sutherland of English, Indiana; her mother and stepfather, Jamie Lynn Parr Nale (Ron) of Marengo, Indiana; her grandmother, Carol Sue Parr of Grantsburg, Indiana; her brothers, Dudley Sutherland (Alisa) of Dallas, Texas and Joshua Sutherland (Matt Shilling) of Columbus, Missouri and her sisters, Angela Sutherland of Leavenworth and Alisa Lieber (Anthony) of Lanesville, Indiana.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Rev. Webster Oglesby will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday and after 9:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
