A car allegedly belonging to a man accused of murdering Queensland teen Jayde Kendall was captured on CCTV on the day she went missing, just kilometres from where her body was later found.

The 16-year-old's body was discovered on farmland in Upper Tenthill on Thursday, 13 days after she vanished on August 14.

CCTV vision from that day showed a red Toyota Corolla hatchback driving past a petrol station in Gatton, less than six kilometres from where Jayde's body was eventually found.

Police will allege the car in the video belongs to 18-year-old Brenden Bennetts, who stands accused of his school friend's murder.
