The Denver Police Department identified the man who was shot to death and found on a couch outside an apartment complex early Wednesday morning.

Toshio Gilmore's body was found in the 500 block of Alton Way, in the Lowry neighborhood. Police are asking for the public's help in seeking information on the homicide.

Initial reports were of a man sleeping on the couch in the brutally cold weather Wednesday morning before discovering Gilmore was dead.
