Tyler John Van Winkle's courageous battle with Brain Cancer came to an end on December 29, 2014. Tyler was born and raised in the same North Everett home his entire life. He loved that his home provided an outlet to nurture his passion for gardening and his vegan lifestyle. Tyler's family and good friends had a special place in his heart and he loved them dearly. He truly felt blessed. Tyler leaves behind his parents, Christine and Leon (Sam); the love of his life, Amber and her son, Max; His brother, Justin, fiancé, Tori and their children, Payton, Audree, Jade, Elliana and Gabe; his brother, Blake (Cassie and Camie); his brother, Chase (Julia); grandmother, Dee, Uncle Vern, Aunt Carolyn; and numerous other relatives. Tyler worked for UPS for eight years and loved his job. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Charles Cobb, Swedish Hospital and Kindred Hospital, and all of the amazing staff at both facilities that took such wonderful care of Tyler. We would also like to thank Travis, Cody, Tony, Joanie, Melissa, Angie and Mary. These special people helped get us thorough this tough time. Tyler would want us all to live a life worth remembering. We will be having a Celebration of life on Saturday, January 3, 2014 at Legion Hall at 2 p.m., 145 Alverson Blvd. Everett, WA 98201
