Chris Warren received the disturbing phone call in the middle of the night and rushed to Regional One in the medical district. He says his son's injuries were worse than he could ever have imagined.

His father says Chandler had major injuries to his shoulder, a collapsed lung and some internal bleeding. Doctors took him into surgery and were trying to stabilize him enough to take him into the ICU, but that is when Chandler's heart stopped, with his father by his side.
Chris said his son had been inspired to go to aircraft maintenance school and was about to get his paperwork started. The two just talking about this on Tuesday before Chandler went to work.
