Kegan Lee Copperman (Kega-poo), 18, of Spencer, unexpectedly passed away Oct. 9, 2015 in Wellington. He was born Aug. 9, 1997 in Medina.
Kegan had the biggest heart out there; he gave the greatest advice, had an unforgettable sense of humor and loved his family dearly. He had a natural way with his cousin, Trent, who laughed and smiled every time they played. His brother, Sean, loves to reminisce on the funny memories of "running over Kegan with the vacuum cleaner," "playing with Tonka Trucks in the sandbox" and "forcing Kegan to participate in 'Wrestle Mania,' his least favorite game." Sean would like to send a message to his brother, "I've seen fire and I've seen rain. I've seen sunny days that I thought would never end. I've seen lonely times when I could not find a friend, but I always thought I'd see you again."
Survivors include his mother and step-father, Jeni Wallace and Gerry Weidrick of Spencer; father, Darrin Copperman of Wadsworth; brother, Sean Wallace of Huntington; step-brothers, Briar and Brandon Weidrick of Spencer; special friends, Demi Dovin of Wellington and Molly Higgins of Spencer; grandparents, Eileen Wallace of Spencer, Barbara Copperman of Brunswick and Timothy and Regina Copperman of Seville; uncles, Gregory Wallace of Spencer, John (Lisa) Wallace of Chippewa Lake, Dan (Renea) Flury of Lodi, Darrell Wallace of West Virginia, Ed (Terri) Wallace of Spencer, Dale (Shennie) Wallace of West Virginia, Augie (Amy) Wallace of Rochester, Bill Flury of Brunswick and Dennis (Laura) Wallace of Wooster; aunts, Maryann Flury of Olmsted Falls, Anne Marie Wallace and Nicole Sprenger of Spencer and Dawn (Mark) Spitzer of Lodi. Extended family includes Anthony Allen, of Florida and 36 cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert K. (Bob) Wallace Sr. and uncle Robert K. (Bobby) Wallace Jr.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Go Fund Me Kegan Copperman's Memorial Fund.
Parker Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
