Aimee Whittaker Floyd died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014, at her home with her family by her side.
Although Aimee's short walk through life has been filled with many struggles, she lived with an abundance of love and strength of spirit that touched everyone who knew her.

She leaves to mourn her loss her devoted husband, Chad Floyd; her beloved parents, Fred and Cookie Whittaker; uncles and aunts Kenny and Patsy Whittaker, Liz and Garland Wolfe, Willie and Gladys Whittaker and Herbert Whittaker; great-uncle and -aunt Alfred and Margaret Beazley; numerous cousins; brother-in-law and his wife, Chris and Jennifer Floyd; and uncountable friends.

Aimee touched and was touched by many during her brief journey, but special thanks go to Blair Mitchell Abbott and JR Carter for being her rocks when she needed them, Jessica Calvacante for loving her as a sister, and Charles and Linda Floyd who welcomed her as a daughter.

A celebration of Aimee's life will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10, at Calvary Baptist Church, Bowling Green. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, in Lakewood Cemetery, Bowling Green.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the CF Foundation or Save7Lives.org.
