A 21-year-old woman has been identified as the victim of the two-vehicle crash on East Dunkerton Road early Wednesday.

Alexis J. Behrends, of Dunkerton, whose parents live in Parkersburg, died about 5:30 a.m.

The crash was reported on East Dunkerton Road about a half-mile east of North Raymond Road. Road conditions were 95 percent ice covered, deputies said.

A vehicle operated by Darlene Hammond, 48, of Hudson, was eastbound on Dunkerton Road when a westbound vehicle operated by Behrends crossed the centerline and the two collided.

Deputies said Behrends died at the scene. Hammond was not injured.
