An Arlington, S.D., woman has been identified as the person killed in a two-vehicle crash that occurred early Tuesday morning west of Volga, S.D.

Krista O'Riley, 34, was the passenger in a 1996 GEO Metro that was traveling east on U.S. Highway 14 when the driver lost control and the vehicle crossed the centerline. It collided with a westbound 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup.

O'Riley was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, Ryan O'Riley, 34, Arlington, S.D., sustained serious non-life threatening injuries. He was later taken to a Sioux Falls hospital.

The driver of the pickup, Spencer Kane, 21, Mankato, MN, and the passenger, Jordan Vanderbush, 22, Brookings, S.D. were not injured.

Vanderbush was the only person involved in the crash who was wearing a seatbelt.
