The Wautoma man killed in a single-vehicle crash early Saturday on Interstate 90/94 has been identified as Evaristo Calzada, 34.

Calzada was a passenger in a car that crashed at about 3 a.m. Saturday at mile marker 105 in Columbia County, the State Patrol said.

Driver Santiago Camacho, 25, Friendship, and a second passenger, Juan Manuel Garcia, 33, Plainfield, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The State Patrol said Camacho was westbound on the highway when the car left the road, went into the median and rolled multiple times.

Calzada was ejected from the car and died at the scene, the State Patrol said.

Alcohol and speed were believed to be contributing factors to the crash. Enforcement action was pending against Camacho.
