Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 18, at Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Chapel for Joshua Keith Alldredge, 22, of Gadsden, who passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2013. The Rev. Joey Hanner will officiate. Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Funeral Home & Cemetery is in charge of services.
Joshua was a 2009 graduate of Gaston High School and attended Gadsden State, where he received his Business Degree. He was always trying to inspire others, not allowing his disability to hinder him.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, O.O. and Cleo Alldredge and Clarence and Doris Leath; great-grandmother, Mary Lee Privett; and grandfather, Dusty Corey.
He is survived by his parents, Rodney and Fawn Alldredge; brothers, Lee Corey Alldredge, Tyler Wise, Bradley Kyle, Draco Stitts; grandparents, Donald (Ruth) Alldredge, Jim (Sandra) Wise and Barbara Corey; aunt, Cynthia (Don) Ellison; uncles, Wayne (Beverly) Alldredge, Buck (Andrea) Corey and Rusty Lane; and numerous cousins.
Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Gadsden Regional Medical Center third-floor MICU, especially Rosita, Angela and Dr. Bennett; 2009 graduate class at Gaston High School; and the faculty and staff at Gaston High School.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or the charity of your choice .
