Tonight a man was shot multiple times in the capital city and died.

Jackson Police have identified the victim as 43-year-old Eddie Wansley.

The address where the incident took place was 3109 West Capitol Street in Jackson.


Jackson police and the coroner were on the scene at the time.

They blocked off Houston Avenue to W. Capitol Street.

There are still no suspects at this time.
