It's never an easy thing to lose someone you love. Even more so when it's sudden and they are young. Oney Jr. was an amazing man, a great husband, and wonderful father. Oney went to the ER Saturday the 30th thinking he may have had a heart attack the night before. They ran tests and it turns out he had a pulmonary embolism (blood clots in his lungs). So they put him on blood thinners, and he was discharged on the 1st & told he could to go back to work. The nurse suggested he not go back to work right away so he waited a couple days. On the 3rd, Oney didn't make it home from work. He was found at the store he works at. He passed away closing up for the night.. This is just so shocking and devastating. The love he had for his wife and daughter was beyond amazing. He was a generous, funny, smart, talented, loving man who didn't have a mean bone in his body. He touched many lives with his dorky jokes and genuine kindness. Rest in peace Oney Wells Jr. You were a beacon of light that will be sorely missed...
