Police are now saying 23-year-old Alyssa-Marie Gerbasio of West Babylon died after she was ejected from her car on Straight Path.

Authorities say the other driver, a 17-year-old girl from Lindenhurst, was taken to the hospital and later released.

The teen reportedly tried to cross Straight Path when she collided with Gerbasio's car.

Suffolk police say the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is being asked to call 631-854-8152.
