Maine Warden Service divers have found the body of a man who fell through the ice on Lake Megunticook in Lincolnville.

The body of Trueman Moore, 20, of Camden, was found Tuesday morning.

His body was found in 22 feet of water, wardens said.

Cpl. John MacDonald said Moore, was walking on the ice with a group of friends when he disappeared Monday evening.

Moore was on the lake with friends at 8:30 p.m. when he disappeared.

His friends did not see him go into the water.

MacDonald said while there is ice along the shore of the lake, there is open water as well.

It was unclear why they were on the ice.

Wardens are urging people to stay off the ice.
