Kayla Ann Melerine, born May 3, 1993, went to her heavenly home on December 8, 2015. Beloved daughter of Richelle M. Stanton (Stephen) and Eugene E. Short (Melissa). Granddaughter of Jerry Melerine (Sue), Ann Ruiz (Danny), Eugene L. Short (Frances) and Geneva Dennet. Loving sister of Troy Welp, Nicholas Fontaine and Sawyer Short. She is survived by many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins whom she loved dearly. Kayla's spirit was as bright as the stars could twinkle. Her smile lit the dimmest of rooms and her eyes told a story that only the wisest heart could tell. Her heart was deep and wide, strong and filled with compassion and admiration for those she loved.
