Todd Boyer was a bright and determined young man with a gift for writing until his life was abruptly cut short at the tender age of 21 years old. He was from Shanksville, PA, son of Mike and Katie Boyer and brother of Matthew.
Todd developed cold like symptoms about a month ago. He was taken to the local hospital and immediately sent into the I.C.U. unit of Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
He remained in this unit and the step down I.C.U. unit for approximately 3 weeks when it was decided that he would need a trach to help him breath.
Unfortunately, he developed complications soon after including pneumonia and staph. Todd lost his battle on March 20, 2016.
