Investigators are still trying to determine what caused a two-vehicle crash that claimed two lives Monday night near Chenoa.

Brent M. Kleckner, 27, of Chicago, formerly of Bloomington, and Nancy Cadenhead, 58, of Pevely, Mo., were both pronounced dead at 9:02 p.m.

Kleckner, whose parents live in the Twin City area, was a national educator at Paul Mitchell.

The Illinois State Police is continuing to investigate the accident, said Livingston County Deputy Coroner Dan Watson.

The coroner's office confirmed the two vehicles collided about 8:45 p.m. in the northbound lane on Interstate 55, but further details remain unavailable.

The Pontiac Fire Department, Duffy EMS and the Southeast Livingston County Ambulance Service assisted at the scene.
