Kent E. Young, 32, of Buchanan died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016, in his home. The cause of his death is unknown.

A memorial service will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Open Doors Community Church in Paris, where he was a member. Joe McClure will officiate. The body was cremated.

Visitation will begin at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the church. McEvoy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Young was born Nov. 7, 1983, in Chanute, Kan., to Keith E. Young and Esther Penn Parkin, both of Paris. He was the stepson of Ronald Parkin, also of Paris.

He married Sept. 18, 2007, to Sherry Kay Glass Young, who survives.

A family member said Young loved his children, fishing and other outdoor activities.

He is also survived by twin daughters: Sky Star and Autumn Rain Young, both of Buchanan; two sons: Cameron Blake Lacy of Waverly and Elijah Milton Nativadad of Murray;

Two paternal grandparents: Helen Berry of Paris and Eddie Young of Montgomery City, Mo.; two sisters: Sonya Kay Woods of Paris and Rachel Lea Young of Sharon;

And several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two maternal grandparents: James and Ruth Penn.
