This is my beautiful niece Amanda Zuccola who died on Saturday April 30, 2016. Amanda fought so extremely hard to fight her demons. Amanda went away for a while over the winter to become clean and take her life back. She recently returned to Massachusetts in the middle of April to see the love of her life, her daughter Maddy. You can see the video that Amanda posted on Facebook of seeing her daughter Maddy again after not seeing her for months.. Amanda returned, was clean and off of herion, had gained weight and had finally taken her life back. Amanda slipped and picked back up the drug herion again. After not using for months, the drug was too much for her body to handle. This time herion took her life at just 29 years old. Amanda had her entire life ahead of her. This is way too young to die. I know most people who have not experienced a loved one struggle with drug addiction but the ENTIRE family suffers, forever! Please don't judge or throw stones and at least try to comprehend that drug addiction is an illness. That person does not want to be an addict the addiction takes over their soul. This dam drug took yet another beautiful soul. Amanda was full of life and she lit up the room with her contagious smile and upbeat personaility. Amanda was an identical twin with Samantha Zuccola and had two beautiful nieces Szailia and Vailiene. Amanda's brother Michael Zuccola is my god-son. I would like to take the burden off of my sister and the rest of the family to raise money to cover the funeral expenses for Amanda. Money is the last thing that should be thought about at this difficult time.
