In the late afternoon of Sunday, November 15, 2015, staff at the Saline County Detention Center contacted Emergency Medical Services for an unresponsive inmate. Later that evening, Mr. Donavan Ray Arras, white male, age 30 of Bauxite, was pronounced deceased by the Saline County Coroner's Office.

Detectives from the Saline County Sheriff's Office, Criminal Investigation Division (CID) responded to the Detention Center and an investigation is currently underway. Mr. Arras's body was transported to the Medical Examiner's Office in Little Rock, Arkansas. The results of the Medical Examiner's investigation will be released at a later time.

Recent arrests for Arras were on charges of Non-Support in September and Absconding Warrant in November.
