Authorities have identified the woman who died in a multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 565 on Friday.

The Madison County Coroner's Office identified her as Jamila Davis, 31, of Savannah, Georgia.

Davis died at the scene after getting hit by an 18-wheeler near the Wall Triana exit at about 2:3 0 p.m. Friday.

Police said the 18-wheeler crossed the median and hit Davis' vehicle. Police said she was pushed across the median into another vehicle and kept going over the embankment.

Davis' funeral arrangements have not been announced yet. They will be through Sylvania Funeral Home of Savannah Inc.
