Douglas Mehling died suddenly on May 14th while dressing for church. Douglas had suffered from muscular dystrophy all his life. He had just completed and submitted his autobiography to his publishers last week. Douglas had received his undergraduate degree at SWAU in Keene. He had also earned a master's degree on-line. His bright smile and willing spirit will be missed by all his friends and family. He is survived by his loving and caring mother, Rita Belz Earhart and his loving and caring father, Doug Mehling. Services are pending. Crosier Pearson Cleburne will announce details later.
