Police have released the name of a man who died after being shot Friday in southwest Oklahoma City.

Just after 5:40 a.m., police were called to a shooting in the 4500 block of S Woodward Ave. where they found Mike Chau, 30, of Oklahoma City, lying in a courtyard of an apartment complex, suffering from a gunshot wound.

Chau was taken to a local hospital where he died from his injuries, according to a news release.

No suspect information has been released, and anyone with information about the shooting should call the homicide tip line at 297-1200.
