OREGON (13abc Action News) - Three people have been indicted involving a deadly stabbing during a family-friendly fireworks show at Maumee Bay State Park in Oregon.

A grand jury has indicted Maurice and Elijah Clark. They're charged with murder and felonious assault each. Police said the two killed Karl Avery, Jr. and stabbed two other people earlier this month.

Also, Jessica Cobian was indicted for obstructing justice. She's accused of lying to police.

"These little young punks are out here recklessly being violent and taking lives," said Leon Oldham.

Oldham is the uncle of Avery and was also stabbed with a knife at the June event. Oldham said he tried to save his nephew while fighting to stay alive.

"The only reason I'm not dead right now is because of this man and his friend tried to come in and jump on dude that was trying to stab me," added Oldham.

Oldham is referring to Jacob Lickert.

"I was like I can't let somebody die right in front of me so I just squared up with the three guys," said Lickert.

Lickert said he had to use his fists to fight off Elijah and Maurice to protect a man he didn't even know.
