It is with a heavy heart and sorrow that I post this. Last night my son Errik lost his wife and best friend after 15 years together. Liz Loosli also leaves behind her 5 year old daughter, Mira.
Liz passed away suddenly at the age of 32. Liz battled and beat cancer twice, only to be taken from us suddenly and tradgically of what appears to be heart failure (autospy is being performed today).
Liz spent the last 13+ years as a preschool teacher and Errik is currently a deputy sheriff with DuPage County Sheriff's Department (7 years). Both serving very important roles within the community.
Unfortunately, Liz was not "life insurable" due to having cancer. My son is left with a tremendous amount of medical bills as well as funeral expenses, student loans and needs to sell his home as Liz also worked to support this.
Anything you can do to help support Errik and Mira would be appreciated more than words could say.
