Joseph Lee Huntsinger was born on July 4th, 1983 in Corpus Christi, TX to Byron Lee Huntsinger and Carol Ann Henke. He was called to Heaven to join our Savior Jesus on July 27th, 2016 at the young age of 33.
Joseph spent a good part of his life in Corpus Christi before reuniting with his childhood love and moving to Kyle, TX. Joseph worked nearly 10 years in the petrochemical inspection field, which allowed him and his family to travel throughout the United States. When not traveling for work, Joseph would attend First Baptist Church in Kyle, and could often be found working on his diesel truck, modifying and upgrading his vast collection of firearms, and, most importantly, making memories with his beloved children and wife.
Joseph was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jerry Lee Huntsinger, and maternal grandparents Joann Morton and Johnny Meuth.
Joseph is survived by his adored father Byron Lee Huntsinger and step-mother Donna, his loving Mother Carol Ann Henke and step-father Jerry, paternal grandmother Erin Schibler and husband David, brother Matthew Huntsinger, sister Khela Huntsinger, step siblings Greg, Amber, Trinity, Patrick, Jerry, James, and Jacob, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a whole host of friends. His memory lives on through his wife and childhood love Aimee Niksich Huntsinger and their two beautiful children – son, Ethan Lee Huntsinger, and daughter, Annalee Michelle Huntsinger.
A celebration of the life of Joseph will be held this Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 11 A.m. at First Baptist Church in Kyle, TX, 400 W. Center Street. In lieu of flowers his wife asks for your thoughts, shared memories, and continued prayers.
