Former Butler University basketball star Joel Cornette was remembered Monday at a service at Hinkle Fieldhouse.

Cornette was found dead in Chicago last week.

He was 35, but the coroner says there is nothing suspicious about his death. Cornette died in part due to an enlarged heart.

Cornette played for the Bulldogs in the early 2000s and helped lead the school to its first Sweet 16 appearance in the NCAA tournament.
