Jeremy Jack Boren, 38, returned home September 10, 2016, to be with family and loved ones. Son of Jack D and Karen Christiansen Boren, he was born August 20, 1978 in Palo Alto, California.

Following his parents' divorce he moved with his mother and siblings to Utah in 1986, where he attended Bountiful High School. He loved music, dancing, and playing video games. Jeremy built computers for himself and his kids, and was always willing to be technical support for friends and family.

He was a talented manager with an innovative mind and incredible persistence. He had a son and a daughter (Gage and Maggie), both of whom he loved fiercely; he adored his children and cherished the time spent with them. Jeremy suffered from chronic back pain and battled depression all of his adult life; he also overcame drug addiction.

In April 2016, he raced to find his mother who had pulmonary embolisms and cardiac arrest while driving, and willed her back to life (with the aid of the Lehi Fire Department). He was a loving son, supportive brother and father, loving partner to his fiancée Cindy West, and will be greatly missed.

He leaves behind his mother Karen Boren (Lehi, UT), father Jack D (Liz) Boren (San Jose, CA), son Gage Kalpakoff (Eagle Mountain, UT), daughter Maggie May Boren (Bloomington, IN), fiancée Cindy West (Herriman, UT), sister Brooke (Ben) Carner (Murray, UT), brother Scott (Peggy) Boren (Carnation, WA), sister Leigh Fullmer (Lehi, UT), and brother Dirk (Jennifer) Fullmer (Rock Springs, WY).

His funeral will be held Saturday, September 17, at the Sego Lily Ward building (800 N 700 E, Lehi, UT), at 11:00 am. Internment will be at the Lehi Cemetery. The family suggest that memorials may be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention or the charity of one's choice.
