My niece Christina was a beautiful young woman with so much potential for a great future. She had a beautiful smile. She enjoyed spending time with my kids and her friends' kids. She was so full of life. She made people laugh. She was very healthy overall and loved to look her best, but sadly, at just 28 years old she lost her battle with heroin addiction. A life gone too soon, Her boyfriend came home last night from work and found her unconscious. She was rushed to MGH in Boston. She lost so much oxygen to the brain. She was put on a ventilator so that her family could get to the hospital to say goodbye. Her mom and her grandparents were at her bedside to say goodbye. It was beyond sad. No words really. We now have to bury her. A burial that we were not prepared for. We never thought we would ever need to start up a Go Fund Me page, but we are in need of help to cover her burial costs.
